Ewan Kirkaldy, SEP, RSW, CCAC

I am a founding board member of the Rewired Recovery Foundation. I currently working as a somatic and psycho therapist focusing on trauma, stress, and burnout nervous system recovery using Somatic Experiencing. I do this as a contractor at Resilient Health. I am a registered social worker with the BC College of Social Workers, and also a certified addiction counsellor through the Canadian Addiction Counsellor Certification Federation.

Previously I have worked in a number of inpatient and outpatient facilities, which have helped me to hone my skills assisting others in navigating issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.

I am a part creator and owner of the online addiction support program Home Based Recovery.

Outside of work, I am a newly minted fly fisher person, who loves to cook, including smoking and grilling, as well as finding and polishing rocks. I like to be outside running or walking my wee dog Vanjie. I have also just started to train in boxing. When inside, I am an avid follower of the Arsenal (soccer) and Vancouver Canucks. I am very fortunate to live as a guest on the Tsawout First Nation, and I work on the stolen lands of the WSANEC peoples on the Southern tip of Vancouver Island.
