Rewired’s goal is to build pathways to recovery for every individual.
Gaining access to treatment is one of the biggest hurdles a person can face when starting down the path of recovery. Current estimates by the BC Centre on Substance Use indicate that as many as 83,000 people are battling substance misuse and with only 3,201 publicly funded treatment beds available, waitlists can be excruciatingly long.
There are private centres that offer treatment, however, costs can be prohibitive to many people. That is where ReWired Recovery Foundation steps in. ReWired raises funds to ensure people get into treatment when they are ready by offering support funding to cover treatment costs.
To date, ReWired has raised over $1M, providing essential support for those embarking on their recovery journey, including facilitating treatment for 40 individuals.
We are committed to assisting those seeking recovery to rewire and reclaim their lives through support from families, communities, and organizations committed to connecting those in need to the recovery-based solutions they deserve.
We are a non-profit working on ways to meet individuals experiencing addiction right where they are – and not leave them there.

We help people living across British Columbia to access compassionate and effective treatment centres to overcome alcohol or drug dependencies, where they can connect with professionals to help them discover the pathways to recovery-based solutions.
